Seeking Excellence in Private Enterprises | Sinyopto Optoelectronics: Striving for a Strong Start to the Year
On January 20, reporters observed at Sinyopto Optoelectronics' Class-100,000 cleanroom that an automated production line was meticulously transferring individual chips from LED epitaxial wafers onto circuit boards. These chips then undergo further processes—such as die bonding, wire bonding, dispensing, trimming, and light testing—to ultimately become finished LED beads. "Cutting-edge transfer technology, precision and stability in packaging process control, overcoming defects like bubbles and cracks, managing ink color variations on MiP substrates, optimizing light-mixing effects in MiP panels, and tackling technical challenges such as minimizing cutting white borders and preventing bright/dark lines at panel joints—these are just some of the hurdles the young team at Sinyopto’s optoelectronics lab has been tackling head-on. Devoting up to 12 hours a day to their work, this dedicated group is pushing full throttle toward delivering a stellar start in 2025." "In 2024, the company experienced strong growth momentum, with annual output soaring by a remarkable 28% compared to the previous year. For 2025, the company has set an ambitious target of achieving a 40% increase in output. With everyone on board fully motivated, our team is firmly committed to pushing forward and reaching this goal," said Wang Jianhua, Deputy General Manager of Hubei Sinyopto Co., Ltd., speaking to reporters. Currently, Sinyopto's optoelectronic products have successfully entered the ranks of leading downstream display industry companies and have also seamlessly integrated into Samsung's supply chain system. The company has earned high recognition from internationally renowned enterprises for its product quality and technological excellence. Moreover, the company's terminal products have been widely used in major events such as the Olympic Games, concerts, and CCTV's Spring Festival Gala, illuminating highlights like the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Chengdu Universiade, the UEFA European Championship, and the CCTV Spring Festival Gala—delivering a dazzling visual feast to audiences around the globe. "We will continue to ramp up our R&D investments and relentlessly drive innovation, embracing a 'seize the day' spirit to capitalize on market opportunities and fuel the company’s rapid growth. In doing so, we aim to make a significant contribution to the development of the 'Optoelectronics, Chip, Display, Terminal, and Networking' industry cluster in Gedian Economic Development Zone," said Wang Jianhua. He added that, backed by Gedian’s thriving industrial ecosystem and supportive policies, Sinyopto Optoelectronics is fully committed to delivering a strong start in 2025—taking full advantage of the current momentum—and striving for an impressive "opening-year performance" that will inject fresh energy into China’s display industry.
