Bravely claiming a prestigious honor! Sinyopto Optoelectronics named one of the "Top 10 Supply Chain Stars in RGB LED Packaging"

On December 1–2, 2021, the annual "Mini/Micro LED Display Advanced Applications Conference & Experts Aurora Awards Ceremony" was held in Shenzhen. Sinyopto Optoelectronics successfully won the "Top 10 Supply Chain Stars in RGB LED Packaging" award, thanks to its groundbreaking advancements in new technologies and its exceptional supply chain capabilities. Additionally, Mr. Qiao Hui, the company’s General Manager, was invited to speak at the "New Display RGB Special Session," where he delivered a thought-provoking presentation titled "Dreams vs. Reality: A Balanced Perspective on the Micro-Pitch Market," earning high praise and unanimous recognition from industry peers, experts, and scholars in attendance.

On-site, General Manager Qiao outlined the current state of the LED display market amid Mini & Micro technology's sustained popularity, as well as the diverse and competitive array of technological approaches emerging in the industry. He also shared Sinyopto Optoelectronics' thoughtful perspective on the industrialization of Mini & Micro technologies—emphasizing the critical need for robust packaging solutions, particularly leveraging fan-out packaging technology to address challenges like testing and yield optimization.
Fan-out packaging technology leverages advanced substrate techniques to transform the chip’s originally miniaturized electrodes into control pins that are appropriately sized and positioned. This packaging approach significantly simplifies chip manufacturing, enabling the full utilization of wafer-level chips—eliminating the need for individual die testing and sorting, which can now be handled during the packaging process instead. As a result, the complexity of testing shifts from the chip level to the package level, reducing the stringent precision requirements for test equipment. This innovative technology is perfectly suited for the ongoing trend of chip miniaturization. Additionally, the packaging process incorporates massive transfer technology, striking an optimal balance between time efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Therefore, fan-out packaging technology bridges upstream and downstream demands, paving the way for the commercialization of Mini LED displays and enabling solutions for Micro LED. Currently, Sinyopto Optoelectronics has launched its full range of Mini products, covering sizes 0.9, 0.7, and 0.6. Additionally, the company has introduced its Micro series, featuring micro-scale chips paired with advanced mass-transfer technology, with product options including 0606, 0404, and 0202.
Sinyopto Optoelectronics will focus on display device packaging, meeting customer needs and aligning with the advancement of upstream chip technologies. This will enable the industry to deliver even more cutting-edge, ultra-high-definition display solutions, bringing consumers a richer, higher-quality visual experience that transforms the way they see the world.
